#1 Gather Your Ingredients
To make lip balm, you will need a base, such as beeswax or cocoa butter. You can also use moisturizing oils, such as coconut oil or almond oil. For added nourishment and fragrance, you can add vitamin E oil or essential oils.
#2 Prepare Equipment
You will need a double boiler, or a heat-safe bowl that can fit over a pot of simmering water. You will also need lip balm tubes or tins to pour your lip balm into.
#3 Melt the Base Ingredients
Begin by melting your base ingredients in the double boiler over medium heat. Stir occasionally to ensure that everything is fully melted.
#4 Add in the Moisturizing Oils
Once your base ingredients are fully melted, add in your moisturizing oils. Stir until everything is fully combined. You can add in additional ingredients, such as vitamin E oil or essential oils, at this stage as well.
#5 Pour into Tubes or Tins
Carefully pour your lip balm mixture into the lip balm tubes or tins. Leave a little bit of space at the top for the balm to expand.
#6 Allow to Cool
Allow the lip balm to cool completely before putting the lids on. Once it’s hardened and solid, you are ready to use it or to label it accordingly with the help of Nako Cosmetic. We are a manufacturer that specializes in private label brands.
